HELP US FUND A COMMERCIAL BREAD SLICER FOR THE COMMUNITY
TIMELINE:
May 19 – June 19: The 30-day funding window.
Late June: We order the slicer from TMB Baking in San Francisco and wait for freight shipping.
August 1st: The slicer is installed, the staff is trained, and the glorious era of perfectly sliced Faria bread begins!
Here’s the truth: we bake incredible naturally leavened bread, but trying to slice it perfectly at home with a dull knife usually ends in crushed crusts and uneven toast. You deserve better, and our shoulders are tired.
We want to buy a professional, high-volume bread slicer for the bakery. It costs exactly $11,200. Once we get it, we’ll be offering perfectly even, bakery-sliced loaves for $1.25 per slice.
